ABOUT ME:
I am a registered social worker and registered clinical counsellor. I have experience working in a variety of settings - with active soldiers in the Canadian Armed Forces, Child and Youth Mental Health at Vancouver Coastal Health, B.C Women’s & Children’s Hospital, and with families connected to the foster care system in New York.
Having lived in several different countries has given me unique perspective on life. I believe that the experiences and relationships we have early on can have lasting impacts in how we interact with the world.
I had an early interest in Psychology, receiving my Bachelors from the University of British Columbia. Going on to complete my Masters at Columbia University in the City of New York specializing in Advanced Clinical Social Work, with a focus in International Social Welfare.
After suffering and recovering from my own concussion, I became passionate about offering mental health supports to those suffering from concussion and injury. An injury can feel isolating for many. Every story is unique, I am here to offer guidance while always working within an evidence based mindset.
